Reading update with Mrs. Luyt 11/6-11/9

Reading: This week we learned about fables. The students read the fable The Fox and the Grapes and answered questions using evidence based terms. On Thursday, we took a spelling test. If you child received a 1, please be sure to sign and return the test so I know you have seen it. Students will receive new spelling words on 11/13/17 (next assessment 11/30).  Next week, we will be continuing to read a fable, The Ant and the Grasshopper and use evidence based terms to answer questions. We will also be reassessing their reading levels for the next two weeks. In addition, students will be having a Latin/Greek test on 11/16/17.
