About Mrs. Farley

Hello All!

I am Mrs. Neal and I teach (and love) math! I started teacher here at Oasis Academy in 2012 as a second grade teacher. Which means I have taught 1st through 5th grade math in my years here (I told you I love math)! I will also begin teaching an Algebra 1 class in the high school this year so if you have a high schooler, you may see me!

I am a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno (go wolf pack!) where I received a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education. I also have my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in mathematics. I have attending multiple trainings from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and from Singapore as well.

I truly have a passion for teaching math and am available to chat about math if you have any questions. I know that there is a lot of changes that have happened in math instruction, especially in the last few years, so make sure to check the blog as Mrs. Ono and I will post videos to help with understanding some of the new strategies and always feel free to e-mail or set up a time to meet. I look forward to a wonderful year!

My three year old son Wiley is wild and fun! I love him to the moon and all the way back again.
