Summer math challenge part 2!

Summer Math Project
Part 2:

Now that you have your restaurant designed, you need a menu! The second part of your math project is to create a menu for your restaurant. You will need to decide what type of food you want to serve at your restaurant. Will it be barbeque? Maybe Chinese? Or just all of your favorite foods? You get to decide! I would suggest doing some research, either by going to restaurants and looking at different menus (you could take a picture of it to use for later) or looking up menus online. Here are the guidelines for making your menu:
  • You must have at least 10 items on your menu (don’t forget dessert!)
  • You have to have prices for each item (make sure you research this, if your large pizza costs $30 but everywhere else in town a large pizza is $10-$15 dollars then I doubt anyone will want to buy your pizza)
  • Your prices must be reasonable (You can’t sell everything for $1, then you won’t make a profit and your restaurant will have to shut down!)

That’s it! Feel free to either write it out or type it up and get creative! Add some pictures or use fancy font (make sure you can read it!). Have fun and keep a look out for part 3 which I will be posting in the next week or two!
