Projects update from Ms. Williams

Hello awesome parents!

I just wanted to let you know what we are up to in Projects this week and let you know what we did last week.

So last week, as I hope your students told you, we studied erosion and the kids did demonstrations for each other to show different ways that erosion effects the world around us! It was messy (as we used dirt with a high clay content and water, so clay-mud) but the kids did a great job and actually kept the mess pretty contained!

This week we are learning about Civics, so basically how our local government works as well as different aspects about society and our national government. We are trying to get this finished before testing starts next week, since that will tax the brains and attention spans of our little scholars.

Please make sure that on testing days students are well rested, have a good breakfast, and that they leave all smart technology (such as phones and smart watches) at home, otherwise they will be collected by the proctor and given back after testing.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. Your kids are awesome, and I love teaching them!
