This week I will be sending home quizzes for 3rd,4th, and 5th. Just remember to sign them quick and send them back with your students. This just allows me to know that you are seeing their work and we are all on the same page!

3rd- This week we are starting to learn how to round numbers to the nearest 10's and 100's using place value.

4th- We are starting to learn different multiplication strategies. This week we are going to dive into learning the partial product strategy.

5th- This week we are starting to learn about input and output tables and learning how to plot ordered pairs on a coordinate plane.

Projects- This weekend students are picking out their influential Revolutionary figure. We will start to do research on these characters so that students can start understanding their figure. Students will pick a influential character from the Revolutionary War. George Washington, Paul Revere, Molly Pitcher are a few ideas. Students will pick their character at school and than their final presentation is to dress up as their character and recite a 2 minutes speech from that characters point of view. Students will have to come up with their own costumes for their character! Thrifty Fines will have lots of options for everyone.
