Reading: This week we learned about fables. The students read the fable The Ant and the Grasshopper and answered questions using evidence based terms. We also began reassessing their reading levels. On Thursday, we took a Latin/Greek test. If you child received a 1, please be sure to sign and return the test so I know you have seen it. Students will receive new Latin/Greek words on 11/27/17 (next assessment 12/7). After the break, we will be continuing to read a fable, The Donkey and the Load of Salt and a Wonder Story assignment where they will use evidence based terms to answer questions. We will also be reassessing their reading levels. In addition, students will be having a Spelling test on 11/30/17.
Homework: Read 20 minutes everyday. Study spelling words (assessment 11/30). Study Latin/Greek words for assessment (assessment 12/7).
