Reading: This week in reading we continued to Read to Self, but added in Word Work and Work on Writing. We also learned about context clues. The students worked on packets with several made up words within a paragraph. They were assessed for understanding on context clues on Thursday. Next week, we begin introducing our Greek/Latin prefixes and suffixes. We will also be discussing protagonist and antagonist in stories.
Homework: Read 20 minutes a night.
