December 15- 18th
Hello everyone! I will be sending test home on Wednesday to get signed before Christmas. Please sign and return by Thursday!
This week in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classes we are going to start working on Performance Tasks for the Smarter Balance test. We are slowly starting to prepare for the test and are really starting to dissect the work problems so students know what they are trying to solve for. This week for homework you will see lots of review problems!
Projects- Students will be having their projects from 1:30- 2:30. Come on down to our classroom and we will all get ready for our big presentations! Vocab quiz Wednesday!
We will be having a small Christmas Party on Thursday. Students may bring a small pillow or blanket.
Remember no school from December 22nd until January 4th! We will begin school on January 5th. Hope everyone has a wonderful break!

3rd Grade- This week we are starting to learn how to use the partial sum and difference strategy to add and subtract, Here is a short homework help video!

We have a test Thursday! Converting metric decimals, word problems, and subtraction!
5th Grade- This week we are still working on graphing coordinate pairs and understanding geometry vocabulary.
Test on Thursday over order of operations, decimals, functions, input and output tables and graphing coordinate pairs
Projects- This week students are working on their speeches for the wax museum presentation. Remember to have students bring their costumes this week by Wednesday and no later than Thursday!
